Work Safely at Heights


The Working Safely at Heights training course is designed to meet the needs of trainees on construction sites and in various trades, performing a diverse range of tasks, including:

  • OH&S Act 2004, OH&S Regulations 2017 fall arrest, anchor points and fall restraints.

  • Fall arrest systems; safety harness & lanyard

  • Checking of Safety Harness 

  • Inspection of the Job Site including Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Risk Assessments, highlighting specific tasks and hazards to be reduced or eliminated.

Dates: As scheduled

Duration: 4 Hours – 8 Hours (Depending on group size)

Venue: On site training or at our various facilities        

Participants: Minimum 5 – Maximum of 25   

Dress Required: Steel capped boots and appropriate PPE

Material Supplied: On the day

Prerequisites: Basic LLN skills 

Outcome: Upon successful completion, trainees will be issued with a Unit of competency qualification RIIWHS204D for Working Safely at Heights.
